  • If you have multiple business accounts, select the specific one you wish to close or delete.
  • You will be prompted to provide a reason for closing your account. Select an appropriate reason from the provided options.
  • Next, you'll be required to complete the account deletion using a face verification and transaction PIN. This step is crucial for ensuring the security and authenticity of the account closure request.
  • Complete the Face verification process as instructed and enter your Moniepoint transaction PIN. If your PIN is blocked, here's how to unblocked it.
  • After entering your transaction pin, proceed to submit your request for account closure.

Once you have submitted your request, it will be reviewed by the Moniepoint team and processed accordingly.

Important Notes:

  • Accounts on Post-No-Debit (PND) Status: If your account is on a Post-No-Debit (PND) status with a balance exceeding N500.00, you will not be able to delete it immediately. You must wait until the PND status is lifted before proceeding with the account closure.
  • Accounts with Balances Over N500: If your account has a balance over N500, transfer the funds to another account before attempting to delete it.
  • Deleting Moniepoint Account will automatically delete all the transaction histories on the account.
