The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ( JAMB ) has issued an important update for 2024 UTME candidates, warning them about recent fraudulent activities by third-party services that falsely claim to help candidates obtain their examination results without using registered SIM cards. Candidates are urged to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to these scams. JAMB has identified an individual operating under the alias Fomo Web3 with the handle @Chaser67y on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms. This individual claims to offer services to check JAMB results for candidates who have lost their registered SIM cards. However, JAMB warns that this is a scam intended to deceive unsuspecting candidates.
