Kuda Account Number

Many Kuda Bank customers complain that they don't get ccount numbers after registering for the bank account. The fact is that, when you register your Kuda Bank Account, you'll only have permission to create Kuda tag.

To get Kuda Bank Account Number, you'll have to push your Kuda Account to Tier 2 KYC. Once you submit your Bank Verification Number (BVN) and National Identification Number (NIN) for review, upon approval, you'll be given a dedicated Account Number which will be effective immediately.

Follow these steps to complete your Kuda KYC verification from Tier 1 to Tier 3. However, once your Kuda Account is in KYC Tier 2, you'll be given a dedicated Account Number which can be used to receive money from any bank in Nigeria.

Once the KYC Tier 2 verification is completed, you can open your Kuda Bank App, tap on your profile Image at the top left corner of your dashboard to view your Account Number. Example of Kuda Account Number is displayed exactly like the one in the image above.

Is my phone number my Kuda account number? However, do note that unlike OPay and PalmPay, Kuda doesn't use your mobile number as your account. A dedicated Account Number is given to all Kuda Bank customers.

In conclusion, if you can't get your Kuda Account Number or your Kuda Account Number is not showing, it's likely caused by not completely your KYC verification to level 2. In addition, if you've already given a dedicated Account Number and suddenly it's not showing again, it's likely that Kuda has banned/restricted your account due to policy violation.
